Alex & Tracey
Managing Directors – Alex and Tracey Howell
Alex and Tracey bought Giles Leisure in 1989 and have led the company from a small single figure team to nearly 30 employees and in the last year alone the team has doubled in size going from 2 Contracts teams at the start of 2021 to 4 in the 2nd quarter of 2022.

Alex spends most of his time visiting sites for the Contracts Team to quote for future projects and assessing the current projects progress as well as working along site Jemima to plan the requirements of any large projects.

Tracey, Alex’s wife, works closely with Kirsty on the company accounts and also oversees the whole team as HR Manager.
The Office Team
As Head of Finance, Kirsty works closely with Tracey to run the company accounts for both clients and suppliers and is the main point of contact for any client queries relating to their accounts. She also manages our Social Media and Marketing.
As Servicing Manager, Jemima is the main point in the office for booking in the work and arranging parts for any repairs. Our Servicing Team specialise in repairs and maintenance of Swimming Pools, Hot Tubs and Swim Spas including replacing and repairing parts, installing Hot Tubs, giving new customers tuitions on their products, and carrying out several large regular maintenance contracts.
As Showroom Manager, Stuart is the main point of contact for any visitors. As a previous Hot Tub and Swimming Pool Engineer, there is no question to big or too small for him to answer and will attend site for any hot tub deliveries to make sure your tub goes in safely and that you know how your tub works.
The Contracts Teams
Our Contracts Teams carry out all aspects of pool construction, landscaping, groundworks, carpentry, creation of plantrooms, tiling and paving of patios, decking, and lining for both new and refurbished Swimming Pools.
Gary - Head Carpenter
As Head Carpenter, Gary is in charge of building all our decking projects as well as any frame work for our wooden pools and Saunas. You can see a large amount of his work in our Gallery.
Chris T - Projects Manager
As Projects Manager, Chris is the main liaison to you, he goes between each of our projects over seeing our teams and any subcontractors, as well as attending site before, during and after completion as well as to visit suppliers to make sure that we get the end result you require.
